The Magic Zone is the brainchild of two local magicians who realized that a purpose built entertainment venue could offer so much more than traveling to a person's home and performing out of a suitcase. Working out of a suitcase limits the choice of material and many audiences see the same trick presentations repeatedly. There are many excellent magical routines that are suited to a staged setting and The Magic Zone gives the performer more material to work with. As a result the magical experience for the audience is enhanced.

 

 

Richard Wibberley has been performing magic shows since he was 9 years old. Originally from England, he has a wide repertoire and presents a fast paced show that is enjoyed by all. The Rather Amazing Mr Wibberley performs magic for all ages including close-up and stage illusions and children's magic.  He is the resident Magician at The Magic Zone and is also available for external stage entertainment.

Ally Pearce is the resident magical assistant at The Magic Zone.  She often finds herself dissected, locked in colourful boxes or impaled by sharp swords.  She literally floats around the stage in her trademark  7inch heel stilettos.  Ally Pearce and Richard Wibberley together have a unique act that is always in high demand. 

 

John Cairns has been professionally performing Magic for over 30 years.  He performs locally and at the Magic Zone Gala shows.  His thought provoking Magic which includes Mentalism is appreciated by all, apart from his long suffering wife.

Geoff Conrau is a multi-faceted performer who has toured Australia and the world performing magic. This includes performing with Rolf Harris, and performing for the Sultan of Brunei.

All magicians selected to perform for the public at the Magic Zone are proficient in their craft and audiences can sometimes be entertained by guests from overseas as well. Watch this space to find out more about some of our other regular performers.
